Who runs each Samaj
Every Samaj is run by its own committee, led by a President the members elect. The platform does not appoint them and cannot overrule them on their own region.
What a committee does
- Publishes the region's events and announcements.
- Verifies that members are who they say they are, and that they belong to the Samaj.
- Keeps the member register for its own region, and nobody else's.
A committee cannot see another region's members, take payments, issue refunds, or read anybody's matrimonial profile. Every action a committee member takes is recorded.
100 Samaj have no President
Verification requests from these regions have nobody local to review them, so they go to the platform instead. If your family belongs to one of them and you would stand, write to help@ranasamaj.org.
